Privacy and your data
This page describes the current MustInstall website at mustinstall.com and unboxapps.com, including their www versions. It explains what stays in your browser and what is processed when you visit or contact us.
Browsing without an account
You can read the website without creating an account. The current site has no submission form, checkout or active newsletter signup. Its application code does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and security services still process the connection information needed to operate the website.
Search
Search runs in the browser. Search terms appear in the URL and can therefore be included in browser history, shared links and request logs; avoid entering sensitive information.
Hosting, security and logs
Our VPS and Cloudflare deliver and protect the site. Requests can involve IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and referrer information. The origin server is configured for daily access-log rotation with 14 archived rotations; the active log is separate, and empty logs are not rotated. This is a rotation policy, not a promise that every record is deleted after exactly 14 days. Cloudflare’s own processing and retention are governed by its policies. Its enabled security services may use necessary cookies; this is separate from the site’s saved-app local storage.
Email and app suggestions
When you email [email protected], the address, message and attachments you send are processed through our email provider to handle the correspondence. There is currently no published automatic deletion schedule for correspondence. Send only what is needed for your question or submission, and avoid passwords, identity documents or private application data. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion requests relating to information you have supplied.
External destinations and your choices
Official download buttons, X links and other external links take you to services with their own data practices. We do not control their accounts, purchases or tracking. You can clear this site’s local storage through browser settings and choose not to send an email. Questions about this notice or the handling of your information can be sent to [email protected]. We will update this page if the site’s data practices change.
